Changes to Coppice Leasowes – Have your say!
Are you a regular user of Coppice Leasowes Nature Reserve?
The Town Council have been approached by the Environment Agency and Network Rail with a project to restore the historic flow of Ashbrook. This will see the brook diverted into the Wetlands within the Nature Reserve and the Council want to hear your views.
A display has been placed in Church Stretton Library which provides you with more information and an opportunity to leave your comments on a simple form. The display will be in the Library until Friday, 21st July.
Please take a look, so we are aware of your thoughts. Thank you.
Rescheduled: Tree Identification and Body Language of Trees
On Sunday 16th July 2023, Terry Merchant will lead us round Rectory Wood and Field to study the trees and learn more about about them. This has had to be rescheduled from earlier in the month. We will meet at 2.30pm and it promises to be a fascinating afternoon studying trees to work out why they grow the way they do. Please contact us at cstreegroup@gmail.com for more details and to book your place.
